ML (UK) are very proud to have just completed the fabrication and installation of 130 tonnes of steels to support the caisson lids of the breakwater at Brighton Marina
The project comprised of fabricating a header beam to be supported by upright and diagonal props. The fabrication works were carried out at our fully equipped workshop based in Portsmouth before being transported for galvanising and then painting.
All works were carried out to Execution Class 2 – Specification EN 1090-1:2009.
Our sister company ML (UK) DREDGING LTD assisted in the installation process with use of our marine equipment with site works completed within 3 months.
This was a fantastic project to be a part of and we are very proud of the efficiency and professionalism conducted by all of the team throughout.
